River Run Retreat | Weeki Wachee River Cabin

This is our 5th family trip! This house is amazing and has allowed us to create amazing family memories!!!

This place was a tropical paradise! Our family of seven had plenty of room and all slept great, which is huge to this mom being we are on vacation and good rest is a must! We spent most of our time outdoors in the river and enjoying the wildlife. We love kayaking so we spent hours every day out on the river going up and and down both ways. There are many of hidden treasures along the river, even a mobile hot dog stand/boat! Which was great for my very hungry kids who had been on the river all day. We say dolphins on our trip that day and it was magical. Coming back to that comfy little cabin after paddling for many hours felt so nice and had an “at home” vibe. Everything was very clean and we had everything we needed for our stay. We would absolutely stay again. Thank you to the owners for such a lovely place on the weeki wachee that they choose to share with others.

This cabin was amazing! Very clean. Plenty of towels. It is on an area of the river where the water is always clear. Will definitely rent again. The host was very responsive and great to deal with.

What a beautiful home! Clean, well stocked and had everything we needed. We kayaked several times and it was amazing! Deer and manatees every day. Sitting on the back porch was just lovely, our kids could swim right off the dock. I do wish we had brought masks in snorkels with us. Tip: kayak toward the state park. It’s upriver so more of a workout but sooo beautiful and peaceful and the water was clear. We went the other direction one day and it was like a highway on the water. We did not receive any check-in information ahead of time, despite reaching out, however, upon arrival, the host was immediately responsive via text and very helpful and everything we need to know about the house was located in a book on the table. Wonderful day, would return and recommend!

Location was perfect for us! We loved kayaking and watching wildlife. Water is beautiful.
